Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black is the last and limited edition UCE 500cc engine as Royal Enfield is discontinuing the production of its 500cc engine motorcycles. Due to this, the company’s Classic 500, Bullet 500 and Thunderbird 500 bikes will no longer be available in the Indian market after March 31, 2020. However, these models will continue in the International market.
To make it memorable of 500cc bike, the company has brought a Limited Edition Royal Enfield model named Classic 500 Tribute Black. Handcrafted at the legendary Tiruvottiyur factory in Chennai. The Royal Enfield bike will be on sale on February 10th, 2020. The company has started booking it online.
This UCE 500cc engine model bike is limited edition of Royal Enfield. Each unit will have ‘END OF BUILD SPECIALS’ serial number on all bikes, which ensure this particular last edition model is unique to its owner. These last 500cc bikes will come in dual-tone paint shade matte-gloss black color.
The Classic 500 Tribute Black BS-IV motorcycles are hand-painted with Royal Enfield pinstripes by the “Kumar Brothers” at Royal Enfield Tiruvottiyur Factory Chennai which has a legacy of more than 65 years of global motorcycles industry like bullets.
Classic 500 Tribute Black Specification
Classic 500 Tribute Black has the same specification as of the existing UCE 500cc engine. Single cylinder, 4 strokes, twin-spark ignition, air-cooled, fuel injection, 27.2 bhp power, and 41.3 Nm torque. And as per its name, it is available only in Black color. Details Given below.
Classic 500 Journey 2008-2020
Royal Enfield launched the Classic 500 motorcycle in 2008. It is one of the most popular motorcycles in the company. However, this engine has not been updated since launch. Now it is not easy for the company to upgrade as per BS6 emission norms being implemented from 01 April 2020, so this UCE 500cc model will not available in the Indian market after March 31, 2020.
However, these bikes will be available in the international market. Also, service and spare parts will be available for the existing customers on all the Royal Enfield dealerships across the country.
