Auli is a beautiful tourist destination and it is famous for skiing. Tourist came here from all over the world. It is just 400 km from Delhi. This beautiful place is 2800 m above sea level. We can go to Auli by Road or by Air. Nearest Airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun which is 230 km before and nearest Railway Station is in Haridwar which is 220km before Auli.

We can take a taxi or bus for further journey. And can enjoy scenic views of mountains on the way to this beautiful destination.

Ranikhet is a hill station in the Almora district in Uttarakhand state. Nearest railway station is in Kathgodam. Ranikhet is connected with well-maintained road. Shimla is a well-known hill station and capital of Himachal Pradesh at a height of 2202 meter from sea level. It is 350 km from Delhi. It is also called “Queen of hills”. Shimla’s name derived from the other name of Goddess Kali, that is Shyamla Devi. During Britsh rule, this was assigned as the summer capital of India. Later on, after independence, it becomes capital of Himachal Pradesh. 

Jakhu Temple, Mall Road, The Ridge, Lakkar Bazar, Christ Church, etc and many more are tourist attractions here. It is well connected by Road but the Kalka-Shimla toy train is the main attraction here.

Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir

Gulmarg is a beautiful hill station in Jammu and Kashmir, due to its beauty, it is also called the paradise of the earth. It is approx 870 km from Delhi. It is one of the major tourist destinations in the country. This place, known as the state of flowers, is located in the Baramulla district. 

The lush green slopes here attract tourists. 2730 m above sea level Settled at a height of, Gulmarg attracts a large number of tourists during the winter season. The nearest airport is in Srinagar, approx 56 km from Gulmarg. This airport is well connected to other important cities like Jammu, New Delhi, Mumbai, Leh, Amritsar, and Bangalore, etc.

Sonamarg, Jammu & Kashmir

Sonamarg is a hill station located at a height of 3,000 meters in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir state of India. It is in the valley of a river called Sind Nala (other than Indus River). There are high mountains ahead of Sonamarg and many famous glaciers are located and from here the road to East Ladakh. 

It is 920 km from Delhi. The nearest airport is in Srinagar, roughly 80 km from Sonmarg. This airport is well connected to other important cities like Jammu, New Delhi, Mumbai, Leh, Amritsar, and Bangalore, etc.

Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh

Bir Billing, Himachal Pradesh

Bir Billing is a small hill point in Himachal Pradesh. It is world-famous for adventure activities like Paragliding, Trekking, Meditation, etc. The take-off site for paragliding is called Billing and the landing site is called Bir which has a total elevation change of about 800 meters. Every year World paragliding championship conduct here. 

Adventurous tourists from all over the world came here from March to November for paragliding activity but the best time is before & after the rainy season. As there is a risk of landslide during monsoon and during winter temperature go down to zero degree. The Paragliding World Cup was first held in India in 2015 in Bir-Billing. Bir-Billing is equally famous with the people of the country as well as foreigners for their paragliding experiences. 

It is 85 km ahead from Mandi and 60 km before Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh and 530 km from Delhi.

Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand

Uttarkashi is a city located in Uttarakhand at a distance of 155 km from Rishikesh and on the way towards Gangotri and 380 km from Delhi. It is a famous tourist place as well as Place of pilgrimage. The city is situated on the banks of the river Bhagirathi. 

Uttarkashi is a religiously important city. There is a famous temple of Lord Vishwanath here. The city is full of natural beauty. Here on one side, rivers are flowing between the mountains and on the other side, there are dense forests on the mountains. Here you can also enjoy climbing mountains.
