It is world-famous for adventure activities like Paragliding, Trekking, Meditation, etc. The take-off site for paragliding is called Billing and the landing site is called Bir which has a total elevation change of about 800 meters. Every year World paragliding championship conduct here.
Adventurous tourists from all over the world came here from March to November for paragliding activity but the best time is before & after the rainy season. As there is a risk of landslide during monsoon and during winter temperature go down to zero degree. The Paragliding World Cup was first held in India in 2015 in Bir-Billing. Bir-Billing is equally famous with the people of the country as well as foreigners for their paragliding experiences.
