FASTag Joining Fee and Charges
FASTag – Fees & Charges. Charges Applicable on FASTag generally include issuance fees, a one-time Security Deposit which is refundable on closure of the wallet and the corresponding charges on reloading your FASTag wallet. In case the tag is damaged/lost a re-issuance charge is applicable on your second tag.

How does FASTag works for return journey?
FASTag is designed to get the benefits of round trip savings automatically. For example: single side amount is Rs. 60 and for round trip amount is Rs. 90. Then first time a customer crosses the toll, Rs. 60 is deducted from the FASTag. When the customer comes back, then the difference between Rs. 90 and Rs. 60, which is Rs. 30 is deducted.

I reside within 10 km of a particular toll plaza. Do I need to take FASTag to get the concessions available for local vehicles?
You will need to submit your documents to the concessionaire validating your residence within 10km of a particular plaza. Once it is verified, you may avail the concession on the FASTag assigned to your vehicle
Does FASTag balance is separate from my linked account?
FASTag balance will be part of your linked account/wallet balance. Minimum FASTag balance amount will be blocked in your linked account for FASTag.
From which account my balance will be deducted for FASTag transactions?
Amount will be debited from your linked account/wallet. In case your Account/wallet balance is less than toll payment amount, money will be debited from your blocked FASTag minimum balance amount.
When will my tag be blacklisted?
In case your balance is less than FASTag minimum balance amount, your tag will be blacklisted at NPCI end. You need to maintain minimum balance amount in order to keep your tag active.
What if I don’t buy a FAStag as my travel by car is very rare?
No issue, You have to pay Toll Tax in cash. But be sure not to go in Fastag queue, otherwise you will have to pay double toll.
